And the people thirsted there for water, and the people complained against Moses, and said, “Why is it you have brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our livestock with thirst?”
Exodus 17:3 NKJV
Are we complaining here?
God made our bodies with a need for water. God sent them out into the wilderness, yet, they complained to each other about Moses, then went to him and complained. So, what’s the problem? They did not believe God. They may have been part of the mixed multitude that were with them. The clue is that they blamed Moses.
How often do we blame someone or God for a situation He has either placed us in or allowed us to be in. What He really wants is for us to cry out to Him so He can meet our need. When was the last time you blamed someone when you should have cried out to Him?
